War Child made the fear of children growing up in conflict-affected areas tangible with a high impact that is running on TV channels in various European countries. To make the fear in war zones tangible, we focused on a fear that every Dutch child can relate to: the fear of monsters at night; the ones under the bed, in the cupboard and behind the curtains. We mirrored this innocent fear against the real fear of ‘’monsters’’ – the people who commit horrific crimes - which children experience in the areas where we work.
